The underlying philosophy of Heritage Academy includes the realization on the part of every educator and administrator that:
The growth of a child physically, socially, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually is the major end to be accomplished by our educational programs.
Growth of a worthwhile and lasting nature results from a variety of experiences. Students need the amount of freedom necessary to practice the making of intelligent choices, but the school is obligated to guide these decisions and restrict behavior in keeping with the child's demonstrated ability to choose wisely.
These specific outcomes of education will be evident in our students:
1. Moral and Spiritual Development
2. Growth in Good Social Habits
3. Growth in Fundamental Skills
4. Orientation to the World of our Times
5. Acquisition of our American Cultural Heritage
6. Individual Development for our students.

All affiliates of Heritage Christian Academy are asked to read the following Statement of Faith, which is the doctrinal basis for all our religious teachings.
Heritage Academy is a ministry of Heritage Fellowship, which is an Assembly of God affiliation and Biblical in emphasis. Both the church and school stand firmly on the changeless Word of God as expressed in the following statement of historic evangelical Christianity:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:15 & 2 Peter 1:21
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, and John 10:30
We believe in the deity of Christ- John 10:33; his virgin birth- Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, and Luke 1:35. His sinless life - Hebrews 4:15 & 7:26. His Ascension to the right hand of the Father - Mark 16:9. His personal return in power and glory- Acts 1:11, Revelations 19:11
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ. That only by God's grace and through faith alone, we are saved - John 3:16-19 & 5:24, Roman 3:23 & 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:15.
We Believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation - John 5:28-29.
We Believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life -Romans 8:13-14; I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18.
We believe in the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ to take away the saved.
Heritage Christian Academy is an extension of the ongoing ministry of Heritage Fellowship Church, whose sole purpose is to establish and enlarge the Kingdom of God in people's hearts and lives. Heritage Christian Academy is an extension of the ongoing ministry of Heritage Fellowship Church, whose sole purpose is to establish and enlarge the Kingdom of God in people's hearts and lives. We maintain the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God which contains principles to be used as life's guide.
We are cognizant of the divine mandate issued to parents to educate and train children "in the way they should go". We strive to assist parents in this God-given responsibility by facilitating a child's understanding of:
Who they are in God.
What they are as a reult of God's grace.
What they can do as future Christian leaders.
We stand in awe and appreciation of God's handiwork in every child.
The purpose of Heritage Academy is threefold:
1. To provide an environment that is conductive to the development of Christ-like attitudes, habits, and character in order to balance intellectual pursuits.
2. To maintain a standard of academic excellence.
And finally, to lead each and every child into an awareness that God has a plan for his/her life.
Her who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ Jesus- Phillipians 1:6
